Notorious: "Slicker than your average..."

So finally, after months of anticipation I went to see Notorious.

First off, madd people wanted to see this movie. My friends and I went to 2 other theaters before finally finding a show that wasn't sold out or the line being ridiculously long. This movie must be making soooo much money. 

Ummm...let's talk about the movie now...this movie was very long, but the drama moved along quickly. I didn't appreciate Lil' Kim's role too much. I don't think they played her as badly as she made it out to be. I think she was offended with every right to be...if she really wasn't a ho. But you never know, she may have been more involved with him than we know.

I didn't like how they acted like Bad Boy wasn't an empire. Puffy (now known as Diddy) was definitely into other projects, remember Mary J? 112? Mase?

But I guess the movie wasn't about them, so they got cut out...

Diddy is a jerk for this movie. I did like that Derek Luke played Diddy. Derek looked madd good. Diddy doesn't look like that...lol. Diddy was going in with the words of encouragement with Biggie. OMG every other line, Diddy had something deep and inspirational to say. I don't believe Diddy is or was deep. I also found it interesting that Diddy seemed to be not around with the real situations were happening...like remember when Pac got 'jumped'...Diddy was downstairs talking at the front desk...uh huh.

When BIG got shot...in the front seat (what celebrity rides in the front seat??) Diddy was in a whole other car, how convenient.

Faith was cute. A little skinnier than she was in real life, but I dig it.

I just understand why they didn't dub the music. These actors can't act rapping. Sorry. I mean, if it was some original music, I could rock with it...like Terrance Howard in Hustle & Flow, but to just go over classic, raw hip-hop like Pac, BIG & Kim...it's not the same.

Overall...I give Notorious a 3 out of 5 rating.

I enjoyed it, wasn't feelin Diddy, he was feeling himself. Him & Voletta.

But before I go...I wanna know if anyone noticed how Diddy managed to make Hypnotize a banger once again...years later. Diddy unofficially re-released Hypnotize!!!
