With my obsession with hair (natural, permed, human, synthetic) of course I would find interest in this new documentary entitled 'Good Hair'. It was debuted at the Sundance Film Festival in January. I believed it's going to be released in October.
I think it was cute for Chris Rock to take on the role as the host of this documentary--he has daughters that are just like all little black girls, wondering why their hair is different and what to do with it.
Hair is very important to black women, whether they want to believe it or not. We spend hours and hundreds of dollars to maintain our hair.
Even when we decide to go 'natural' we still have to of pay a lot of money for the products to tame our hair.
I believe all black women have beautiful hair, but we all just don't know what to do with it...the possibilities are endless.
