Black Voices recently did an interview with Lil' Kim. It discussed her being on Dancing With The Stars, where she wanted to go next with her career, her view on 'bling' and her inspiration...
First off, why is she speaking so softly? She sounds mad weird and airy.
Second, why is she speaking in the third person?
Third, why is it that, she first saw Dancing With The Stars in prison and says it as if that is so normal for anyone to say? She must have said prison like 4 times.
Kim is redic. I loved her career, she was an influential woman of hip-hop, but she seems a little out there. I never peeped her airy-ness, this must be a new movement. I thought she was 'hardcore'.
Now she reminds me a little bit of LaToya Jackson. Not a good look. I can't relate..
"...I'm elevating and I'm growning as a girl--into a woman, so it's like you know, they're so used to, 'little-tiny kim' and you know, now I kinda wanna...you know, be an entrepreneur and kinda explore that side of my new next level career..."
Ummm, you're 33. How are you growning from a girl to a woman? Whatever.
Anyway, I may tune into Dancing With The Stars to see her in action. I haven't seen Kim dance, except in that No Matter What The Say video. But that wasn't real dancing.
Now I should leave with how I know Lil' Kim, one of many bangers...
